The snow was very thin on the ground, for the last few days the temperatures had been warm enough to melt it. A pink pigtailed teenager walked around the mall enjoying the nice expensive shops, it was practically the perfect day to spend loads of money and go out her business. She already bought 90 credits wort of clothes, which was basically an expensive dress and very nice shoes. It was amazing what the designers of the city could come up with. If you were to ask anybody else, it was same basic thing over and over, but to this girl totally brand new. She was practically skipping through the mall with her one bag in her left hand and her pink umbrella in the right. Such a pretty glorious day.
She walked into the women's beauty department, was always filled with life and shouting girls. Now... Now there were just girls being quiet and sounding pathetic. Even the typical business women seemed slow and depressing, what was going on? She turned to ask but noticed how sloppy the lame employee was. Who should totally get fired. That was when she noticed, a girl her age sitting in a chair crossed legged wearing a white dress that seemed to blend with her perfect tanned skin. She was messing with her hair and seemed to be using the make-up as much as she pleased. She seemed to be the only one not really blending in.
The pink pigtailed teenager walked up to the girl that was the same age as her. "Don't tell me, you are feeding off these wondrous lousy people?"
the other teen, the obvious oddball smiled and answered sweetly, "What ever do you mean? I am merely minding my own business here." she sounded so calm and at ease, totally up to no good. "That's it you are dead." the girl shouted annoyed by this little witch. She was a witch-hunter and this was her job. "Tell me right now! What are you witch?" The black-haired teenage stopped putting on make-up, slowly placed it on the table. Turned to the pink pigtail female before her and spoke, "You dare speak to me that way? Well if you must know, I am but the Sloth. You better get moving or I will kill you, petty little girl." "Yeah, not going to happen!" shouted the pink haired girl as she swung her umbrella.
The witch held up her arm and with incredible defense blocked the umbrella. She picked herself up and started to get into a better position, keeping the umbrella blocked. "You really want a go on me? That's a laugh." The witch arm started to suddenly glow as it turned into a type of crystal.
The rich pink haired teenager backed off, her umbrella pulled along, she started to spin the umbrella making it light up. This was not going to be fun. She cared less about anyone's safety, they were just mutts anyway. Yet, if you did notice she did take steps back and drew the fight more outside to prevent more people from getting harm, she would have never admitted to it though. "You are soo going to die." she said under her breath as the knife-like man headed toward her enemy all flying like a shotgun bullet. The witch easily pulled up her arms to create a shield.
The pink haired girl's eyes grew as she realized this was going to be a lot harder than what she first thought. She quickly started to form a bigger stronger bolt, using more of her mana. However by then the witch ran toward her and hit her with her crystallized arm, making the pink haired teenager fly backward into the wall with a thump and created a cut against her face as well. The witch turned to the girl and grinned at her victorious moment, she had even decided to taunt the girl, "Oh look! You are now a bleeding petty thing! You sure you don't want to leave this Sloth alone? I mean, what do you honestly gain by killing me? Sadness? The sense of heroism? I am merely feeding off negative emotions, it is the way I live, it is like you eating a cow. Now please stop this petty battle, for it is obvious you are week." This had seriously made that pink haired teenager mad. She started to force herself up, blood dripping down her face. "You ARE So-" she stopped short as someone or something suddenly came and hit the witch.[/blockquote]

Soft as a feather on air was Artemis as he walked down the isles to find a tailor to make him a new suit. He had been walking and had over heard a conversation from the girls department. Artemis continued on ignoring when he saw a pink ponytail emerge from the girls department. This caught his attention when the ponytail disappeared in an instant. He heard Some girl saying something and he ran in. He saw their was a girl with black hair standing their gloating. As well as standing their he looked on to see the pink haired girl bleeding from the face. He put on his glasses analyzed if this woman had any unseen allies.
The red eye's flashed with heat signatures but they weren't pulsing very fast meaning that they weren't bothering to notice. Artemis took his glasses down and placed them calmly in his pocket as the black haired girl concluded her statement. He then walked silent as before and stood behind the girl. He stood behind the girl as the other began speaking. As the girl did Artemis curved his hand slightly and stuck the woman in the crook of her neck. He watched as the girl fell caught off guard. quickly placing his left hand into his right palm and began Squeezing it. As the spark flickered from his hand, the girl got up. Artemis glared at her with his icy resolve as he placed his hand as if to throw a javelin.
"Hello miss may I intervene?" He asked mockingly. The girl was obviously angered that Artemis had interrupted her moment of the upper hand. The bolt appeared and Artemis put his hand in front of him and gently curled his fingers in a come at me gesture. The girl did such and charged at Artemis her crystal arm extended. Artemis stood till she was at full momentum then dodged to the side as her slash came down. he reacted and struck the bolt to the back of her head. Her hair burst into flame and she fell her mouth gaping in a forever silent scream. Artemis stretched and turned to the pink haired girl behind him. He reached down to help her to her feet.

The thing that intervened? A guy just randomly stepped up behind the witch and struck her on the crook of the neck, of all the? Then started to form blue stuff? She felt her face turn red from the embarrassment, she could not believe this. Just a low class should not be at all interfering in her battle, hers, and no one else's. He asked her if he could, but she never greed to it. She didn't even have time he just sent blue stuff straight into her freaking head, making her burst into flames screaming as a final farewell to the world. WHAT JUST HAPPENED?! The girl slapped the random new guy's hand away and picked herself up. As soon as she was on her two feet, she went to whack him up on the side of the head with the pink umbrella. "How dare you! Do you know how lucky I was to have her here? I needed to kill her! How dare you take that kill from me! Ugh, I can't believe you selfish little stupid, Witch-hunter! Why did you do that?! Why? I had her right there! All I had to do was send a large amounts of mana at her leg, then stab in the neck of my umbrella."
she stopped, because she noticed the bleeding going down her face. Her face turned a even brighter shade of red, as she turned away and started to pad it with a white handkerchief she kept in her purse. When most of the bleeding had stopped, she slammed the handkerchief back into her back and turned back to her newest victim t talk his head off some more. "If you ever, EVER! Steal my kill again, I swear I will end you very life! I will either make you suffocate or just let your poor broke arse decay in the trash!" she went on a lot longer but this writer is tired of typing. [/blockquote]

Artemis wondered why she had slapped his offer to help her up away. Must be like Holly, always independent Artemis thought to himself. He put his hand to his chin, his index and thumb around his chin pretending to listen. "So wait a second. What is a witch-hunter? Also a follow up question, what's a witch?" Artemis said when the girl was wiping the blood from her face. When she continued to rant he silenced and listened till her ranting dived off the deep end and it began to bore him. "Listen I don't know what you are talking about an umbrella blast, the witch, or the witch-hunter title you said. Although I do know that if you would like I can heal you cut." Artemis said calmly.
Or I could leave this young women to her own ranting well I finish looking for a tailor. Artemis thought as he pulled his hand from his face and crossed his arms. Although this was an option Artemis didn't take it and placed his left hand into his right palm again. Then he squeezed again and the spark appeared like before. "Just hold still and stop talking and I'll heal up that cut." Artemis said. He then placed his hand upon her rosy cheeks and spread his index finger across the length of the cut. Blue sparks began jumping and leaping from his finger and onto her cheek. Please don't kiss me Artemis thought as sparks scurried from his finger and onto her cheek. They then scurried up and into the cut and disappeared within. Artemis pulled away when the magic stopped moving from his hand. Artemis couldn't stop himself from grinning when the freshly healed skin began to blend in with The girls cheeks. "There we are all better now if you'll excuse me. I must go and find a tailor to sew me a new tuxedo." Artemis said as he turned to leave.

He started asking her various questions about the whole witch thing, she didn't know what to say or how to reply, she needed a way to escape. She however did not have to create one, for before she could even answer him he was already carrying on, as if that was not really important at this moment. He mentioned about healing her, how was he able to do that without being a witch-hunter or a witch or anything? Before she could ask he suggested her not to move and reached out to heal her. She watched as his fingers drew closer to her face, he gently touched where the cut had been. She suddenly felt a tingling sensation as her skin started to heal back. Her mind couldn't wrap around it, what was he? Before she could find the words to speak and ask him, he was already getting up to leave to go find a tailor. Before she could stop herself, she jumped up and practically shouted, "Wait!"
she immediately picked up her umbrella, that she must've dropped during the battle and practically ran into him. "I need to ask you some things. First off, how did you heal me? What are you? Also, a tailor? You look flat broke to me, why have I never heard of you, if you can afford a tailor? I'm Noel, I am the girlfriend to the Mayor's son. Also I am top model here in town, and a witch-hunter. Meaning I am suppose to kill witches, like the one you defeated before I could. Which by the way, now I have to spend hours to find another one before I start fading, THANK You. Now what are you again? I am sorry I didn't hear you... Just I don't.." she looked away when she realized she was talking way too much for her own good. Her face was a tad red from the embarrassment of the whole situation. Her heart pounded as if she actually had a crush on the guy, but then how often does she get healed by a man? She had John, but he was under a spell, and it was just not the same. She wanted to move on from John, yet she didn't want to. These thoughts were suddenly piling up making her feel a tad dizzy. This was not fair, this did not make sense, who was this guy? Where did he come from? How did he heal her and kill the witch? What was going on? Honestly, there seemed no explanation.
Her thoughts were so busy turning, she felt the need to take a break. The best way, that she could think of was to straighten her pink dress to make it look more neat and expensive,to wipe the blood that was left over on her cheek, and to just flat out stared the guy down.[/blockquote]

Artemis continued walking even though The girl had said wait. He was then hit with a force that almost knocked him over. He kept his balance though and continued walking as the girl began asking questions about him. Now what are you again? I am sorry I didn't hear you... Just I don't.." He heard her say and knew he could answer some questions of hers. He stopped abruptly and turned to her.
"Allow me to ascertain to you what I can. For starters I am Artemis fowl, the second since my father is Artemis senior. In simple terms I am a very special man." Artemis said as he reached into his pocket. "You have never heard of me because the Fowl family is very secretive over our dealings and I am new to this city. I have claimed the land of the wooden manor outside the city limits." Artemis said as he pulled his hand from his pocket. He then put his hand up to her ear "And, I healed you..." He pulled a quarter from behind her ear. "With magic." He said as he put his quarter away. "Lastly, I am very wealthy since my father is the proud owner of a shipping company. He has vertical integration over the company which really helps. Not to mention I have had favor on me as I have come across 10 hundred thousand dollars worth in gold." Artemis said as he finally spotted a tailor.

She could not believe she was even talking to this guy, sure he healed her, yet... She rolled her eyes in annoyance this was getting her no where. "I AM A WITCH-HUNTER"
her voice sounded very annoyed at the fact he couldn't seem to figure this out. She also seemed to be converting back to her oldself, after the whole battle and the touching healing moment. "Special man? What? Related to some big bad wish-maker or something?" she practically said it in a voice that she didn't believe a word he said. She had actually turned away crossing her arms, this was a pointless conversation. He may be high class or whatever, but it was obvious he was just another waste of her precious famous time. Then she heard it, wooden manor. "wait.. Wait... That was YOU who bought that old Manor dump? Wow you are big and rich, too bad your not famous around here. All those little secrets, mean nothing. This place is a secret, I mean come on, we're all trapped here, so you might as well shut your mouth and—Wait Magic? As in the wish-maker's magic? As in the magic I use to get guys to fall in love with me? Why did you sound so secretive about THAT. Sheesh boy you know nothing." okay, she was most definitely getting carried away and into her snobby personality. That was when the guy continued on and on, Noel practically stopped listening and had rolled her eyes. "Who cares? So, if you don't know anything about witches or anything like that. Then how did you know the thing I was attacking was a witch? Or not to kill me? Well?" by now she had somehow moved in front of the guy was bending over, as if mocking him for being shorter than her. She of course did not notice the tailor's behind her, then she probably didn't care.[/blockquote]

"Well you see I killed what you refer to as a "Witch" for the manor some idiot Adventurer bought it. The reason I didn't shoot you with a bolt of lightning was because your heart rate was above that of the "Witch" which meant you were the one being attacked. Plus she had a crystallized arm for indication. The only person I've ever seen doing that was my freind. Also many would care for my magic as it is very special for it's abilities. I mean I myself have been to a desolate pocket world like this once before thanks to it. Granted their were Six hundred fifty two men armed to the skin of their teeth with weapons after me their but, it was basically the same. Not to even mention that my magic has sent me back in time to fight myself over an extinct monkey." Artemis explained to the taller women. His face frozen without any emotion.
Now I must be excused. For I have found my tailor and want to get my new suit before you try anything on me. Artemis said calmly as he turned and began walking over to the tailor. Oh and if you persist on insulting each other I have ex ray glasses to see through you. Oh and they have noise blockers too. Artemis thought to say but didn't. He took the shiny pair of glasses out of his pocket and put them on to block the tailor from seeing his eyes. "Greetings sir I need your help. I need a new blue suit like this one just not as torn." Artemis said to the tailor as he came in closer.

He started talking about all the things his powers could do, surely he must have been a wish-maker to travel back in time and such. She began to wonder if he could possibly even break the curse she laid on John to make him forever love her. Then the guy could be a crazy lunatic who just made up the biggest lie this world had ever known. She was pretty sure it was the lie part, not even the oh so "great" wish-makers seemed to have that much power. The only thing she didn't get was why he seemed soo emotionless, probably snobby rich kid act. It was probably all lies, like for one somebody else buying the mansion and him living in it. The fact that he supposed travel back in time to stop himself, who would bother doing that? Total waste of time. Then there he went, leaving her to the place behind her.
She slowly turned around to see the tailor's shop, odd, she never noticed this before. She reached out to grab Artemis's Arm, but for some odd reason she stopped herself and slowly pulled her hand back. She felt suddenly tired and sad, like for some odd reason she lost a friend. Goodness, no idea why she felt that way, he was just some lying scumbag. Not to mention he was obviously a freako from another planet living in his own imaginary world. All he did was kill a witch, which she had right there, and then heal her. She could practically imagining him screwing with her head right now, with herself trying to explain this sudden loneliness. She started to walk away, and it felt as if that weight grew and grew.
What if he really could cure John? What if he could help her get her old life back? To erase all those painful things she did? What if he wasn't lying? Just, was she desperate enough to break her pride and ask? She knew this whole mess was her mistake, and she knew it was wrong to use her powers and money to get friends. Just what if it was the other way around for once? What if she became friends with someone for their money and power? How would that feel? No, that was not right. That is lowclass scum hooker talking, she would never dare sink so low.
She practically stood there debating for the longest of times not at all paying attention to her surroundings, anything could happen at this moment and she would have never known. She just stood there thinking about turning around and trying to convince this guy, this poser, to help her. Just without break.. What if she paid him? It wouldn't be asking, so that should totally work! Plus she had plenty of money, take any price he had to offer.
She immediately turned around, a huge smile on her face. She had no idea what the tailor and Artemis conversation or actions were at this point, nor did she even notice. Consider she was practically jumping with glee. Then, she never was the sort to notice anything. "What if I pay you!? To help me!"
she shouted so loud, almost half the store could hear. A lot of people actually turned their heads at her confused. [/blockquote]

"Hear let's get those measurements little boy." The tailor said as he began measuring Artemis's wrists. Then he measure his arm length then his height and his waist and ankles. By the time he was done Artemis was bored. Artemis sat down and was sitting on a bench his glasses shining in the light. That was when her words hit him. "What is your proposal" said a man standing a few feet away from the girl.
Artemis stood and walked over to the girl. "Calm down miss, or you may end up with a scoundrel of a man." Artemis said calmly. "It all depends on what your asking for. As for the payment I wish to know the name of the associate I will be working with and any details you can give me. Specifically on how we came to be in this pocket and how I was sucked here." Artemis said as he reached up to remove his sun glasses. He plucked them with ease and set them into the confines of his pocket.

She stood tall and watched as some guy whispered to Artemis, and Artemis getting up and walking over to her. She felt her heart beat pick up as she listened to him speak to her, there was probably red on her cheeks but she could not see that. He seemed so calm to the fact that she shouted and was asking to pay for something, something he knew nothing about. He spoke of the terms of how he had gotten here in this pocket, as well as everyone else. She honestly knew not, but she could at least estimate and come up with an idea. "Alright, I will agree to your terms. I will also be willing to pay credit, if you help me cure John, a boyfriend of mine. He sort of is under a spell, is there anyway you can break it? Anyway at all?"
she spoke with high hopes filling in her voice. Little did she know a wish is never broken once it was made. Not only that, but technically he was not always under the curse causing any sort of magic have to be extremely strong and flexible to even attempt to break it. She was stuck with him like that everytime she got near him, or at least in her head with him permanently like that. Imagine the fun when she is a witch.
Her heart thumped as she waited for a response, she really wanted him to at least try. If his magic was so strong, it could free John, it had to. She wouldn't mind paying the money and the information. She was even willing to help him the best way she can after this. Just help heal John.[/blockquote]

Where is Holly when I need her? Perhaps if I had full magic my heal might work on this John character. Artemis you must try, You have defeated a god after all. Artemis thought for a short time. "Well miss I, We I mean, will need a witch and a knife." Artemis said as he thought back to the first time he had met Holly.
"Then after a while we'll need the full moon to accompany me to the oak tree pond." He said under his breath. "Now miss what is your name?" Artemis asked. Artemis Smiled trying to seem friendly as if working with people who were trained killers was natural. Artemis hated the idea of hurting this girl and himself but it had to be done.

A tree and a knife? That will be easy to get, though to keep the witch underwraps... She would have to wait for a full moon? That will take forever, well at least it gave her time to find that witch. He then asked her her name was. "I already told you, Noel. Don't you pay attention? Now, do you have a cellphone? For when I need to contact you, because I rather us not meet out in the open. Don't need my friends finding out our little scheme, they already thing I am some sort of bewitching creature."
She put her hands on her hips, as if she had some power over him and could do what she wanted. Even though in reality, she needed his help more than anything. She was willing to do anything to get it, not that she'll ever dare even admit to that. There just no likely hood that she wants to.[/blockquote]

Artemis dropped his left hand into his pocket As she asked for his number. Hm now I wonder if she really needs help or just wants a date, Artemis thought. Artemis fumbled his phone in his pocket checking that he had it. He clearly did and so he pulled it from it's pocket. "You can call me at 158-673-9590. Now what's yours Noel?" He asked.
Artemis Looked up at her over powering stance. Holly I think I found you the perfect mud-partner. Maybe you two could meet over some sim coffee, Artemis thought to himself. Artemis forced himself not to laugh at his own joke.

She typed in his number in her latest cellphone, she saved all the details under his name and merely pushed call. "I don't know, you tell me."
she said a tad tauntingly as she looked down at her cellphone flat screen. She made a mental note that it needed a brand new pink cover, make something rich and hard as a rock. When all the number transfers were complete, she smiled and started walking away. "So you later! Pretty boy!" she shouted over her shoulder. She eventually vanished through the crowd, even with her pink hair.
